In the past decade or so, the organized Indian retail industry has witnessed rapid, runaway growth, both in metro cities as well as smaller towns. This has thrown up a huge challenge to the industry – finding and employing people capable of handling the varied aspects of modern retail. Future Innoversity, which is part of Future Group, an industry leader in retail, has stepped in to bridge this gap between the demand for retail professionals and the relatively low availability of trained candidates. Our full-time post-graduate programme in Retail Management is structured at two levels that allows MBAs, graduates or working professionals (with a minimum of one year’s experience in retail or the services industry) to join the programme at a level that is commiserate with their educational qualifications/work experience.
This is an autonomous programme. Its primary objectives:

A considerable amount of time is allocated to worksite training, live projects and role immersions, ensuring that our students experience the complexities of the job in real time.

Guest lecture series: Besides our full-time faculty, guest lecturers drawn from the industry will participate in the programme and offer students the benefit of their practical knowledge and experience.
Retail Yatra: A unique 10-day study tour to help students of this particular course understand the retail industry by observing the retail practises of traditional and local markets firsthand. Students follow the life cycle of products from its creation till the time it is bought by the consumer.
