Future Innoversity launches its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management. Certified by Future Innoversity, this is an autonomous programme structured at two entry levels:

 

• Entry level 1: Targeted at all graduates, this 17 months, full-time course includes 2 months of on-the-job training and 4 months’ of a work-study project.
• Entry Level 2: MBAs/graduates with one year’s work experience can join at this level. The duration is 11 months, full time and includes 3 months of a work study project.

 

This programme was born out of the institute’s active involvement in advancing the study of retail management through a pedagogic process that is rigorous and updated according to industry trends. Being autonomous, it allows us the freedom to innovate with new educational processes that will benefit both students as well as organisations looking to recruit retail management professionals. This has been designed keeping in mind that a complete sectoral immersion in retail is critical for creating students who are job ready from day one. Also unlike regular MBA or PG programmes, the timelines for this particular programme is decided by the retail sector’s manpower hiring timelines rather than conventional academic ones.

To ensure that the students are employable, the course requires that they spend a considerable time on-the-job gaining hands-on experience and understanding the industry as an insider.
