Leaders at the Future Group envisioned plans for Future Innoversity as far back as 2005, when they perceived the potential manpower requirements and emergent need for industry-ready talent within India’s retail sector. They also perceived the immense knowledge gap prevailing in areas such as Supply Chain and Logistics, which are critical to driving the retail industry and other developing sectors forward.

While many new sectors were set to bolster ahead, it was assessed that the severe shortage of well-qualified retail and supply chain management professionals could potentially cripple the growth of these promising industries. Empowered by a vision to bridge this widening Education Employability Gap between the supply and demand of employable manpower in such specialised sectors, the Future Group laid the first cornerstone in retail and supply chain management education, thus creating a lifetime of opportunities for India’s young aspirants.
